Occult



There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,.. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer... For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee... Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God. - Deuteronomy 18:10-13

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,.. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,.. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. - Galatians 5:19-21

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,.. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth... Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith... But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was... But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,.. Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me... Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution... But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived... But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;.. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. - Revelation 21:8
