For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God... So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. - Romans 14:11

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,.. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us... If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. - 1 John 1:8,9

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,.. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. - Galatians 5:22,23

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. - 2 Corinthians 2:14
