So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. - Romans 10:17

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: - Ephesians 6:17

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:.. That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. - 2 Timothy 3:16,17

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: - 2 Peter 1:19
