New Testament believers which comprise the church are not under the law. There are principles set forth in scripture to guide us. As we trust Christ in our life, He will lead us to function within these principles or guidelines. These principles are not law, as the law can only condemn us. We can not, by ourselves, live up to these principles, but Christ who is in us can.
