The New Testament was written after Jesus lived here on this earth. It consists of 27 books (about one third of the Bible). It reveals the life of Christ and the mission of the church.
We see many Old Testament types and prophesies fulfilled in the New Testament. The New Testament is the final revelation of the Word of God. There is to be nothing added to it.
