Statement of Faith

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be verbally inspired by God, inerrant in the original writings, and of supreme and final authority in matters of faith and living. - Matt. 5:17, 18; John 10:35; II Tim. 3:16, 17; II Peter 1:21

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. - Isaiah 48:16; Luke 3:22; II Cor. 13:14

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true man. - Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:31-35; John 1:1, 2, 14, 18

We believe that man was created in the image of God; that by disobedience he sinned and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also that spiritual death, which is eternal separation from God; thus all, because of sin, are alienated from God both by nature and by choice. - Gen. 1:26, 27; Romans 1:32; 3:23; 5:12

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, the just for the unjust. - Isaiah 53:5; Matt. 20:28; I Cor. 15:1-4; I Peter 3:18

We believe in the bodily resurrection of our crucified Lord, in His bodily ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate. - Psalm 16:10; Matt. 28:5-10; Luke 24:51; Hebrews 8:1; I John 2:1

We believe in the "Blessed Hope," The personal, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. - Luke 24:51; Acts 1:9, 11; I Cor. 15:51, 52; I Thess. 4:14-17; Titus 2:12, 13; Rev. 22:20

We believe that all who receive the Lord Jesus Christ are justified by faith and are born again of the Holy Spirit, thereby becoming adopted children of God. - John 1:12; 3:3; Rom. 5:1; 8:14, 15

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the just and the eternal punishment of the unjust. - John 3:16; 5:24; Rev. 20:11-15
