No matter where we go, we see objects (or things). Any object can remind us of God in one way or another either in a positive or a negative way. A simple way to share about God and His love is to point to and show a child an object and tell them how it reminds you of God. Below are some examples to help you understand how to share "things".
See that lightbulb (or the sun or the moon) up there, well it reminds me of God and his love for me and for you. If there were no light in this world, we wouldn't be able to see anything that was dangerous. We might just walk into a pit and get hurt. Light helps us to see our way so we can tell what we are doing. God has given us light, in fact the Bible says that Jesus is the Light of the world. Jesus can light up our life so we can tell if we are going God's way...
See this hammer (or other tool), it reminds me of God. You know that building a house takes a lot of hard work. The carpenter has to hammer lots of nails into the boards to make the house nice and strong. If that wasn't done right, the house would just fall apart. Sometimes it seems like hard work to read and study the Bible, but it is worth it because that is one way that God builds us strong...
See this sword (real or plastic) here, well it reminds me about God. Swords are used to kill and to destroy. Sin kills and destroys us, it seperates us from God. Even though we sin against God, He still loves us and is willing to forgive us if we put our trust in His Son, the Lord Jesus...
