If you speak or teach to a specific group of children on a regular basis, a surprise box may help. A surprise box is just a box that contains surprises to show the kids and not to give away. You may wish to decorate your box with Christmas paper, paint or other colorful decoration.
Each week (or whatever time you are with them) you can put one or more surprises in the box before meeting with the children. Keep the box in full view throughout your normal teaching time, and then open it up at the end to show the kids your surprise. Explain to the kids how this item relates to or reminds you of God.
The children will all be wondering what surprise you will be bringing that week.
